POS Billing

This module provides full cash register functionalities on a POS Terminal. Option to operate this screen either by using a touch or a keyboard interface while guaranteeing the user a secure and quick billing process. The touch interface provides an intuitive layout with coloured icons for easy recognition.

  

 

  

Either way, the billing screen offers numerous functionalities some of which are explained below:

• Single key functions ensure quick & error free bill creation.
• Powerful Help for fast Product and Customer search.
• Fast Moving and Open Dept. help keys for quicker search.
• Search Product by Code, Barcode or Name.
• Product search help screen displays the current stock for the product.
• Search Customer by Code, First Name, Last Name, Telephone or Mobile number.
• VAT is calculated individually for each product.
• Option to sell a product in any Alternate Packing Unit.
• Offer Discount by value or % (by product or for whole bill).
• Product stock gets reduced automatically after closing each bill.

 

• Save and Recall bills any number of times. Option to call bills only for the logged in user.
• Open Price offers flexibility to change the product sale price while billing.
• Accept barcodes from Weighing scale with automatic price / weight calculation.
  
• Multiple settlement / tender types include CASH, CARD, VOUCHER, CREDIT and MULTI CURRENCY.
• R/A and P/O to maintain other receipts and pay outs.

  HOUR SALES gives up to the minute sales figures for the day:

• Calculate staff commissions automatically by linking the staff to each bill. 
• Print the X Report for any period (Detail, Summary or by Cashier) from within the billing screen.

Product / Stock Control

• Create products and link  to Brand, Department, Supplier, and Product Type databases.
• Control over or under stocking by setting the Maximum and Reorder levels. 

  

• Apart from the base unit, create up to three alternate packaging units of measurement with their individual barcodes, now a must in all retail environments.
• Alternate unit quantity can be calculated either by dividing or multiplying the quantity in 1 base unit.
• Each alternate packing unit can have its own conversion barcode, cost price, selling price and profit margin Printing of Barcode is a standard feature.
• Define a product as Fast Moving, Open Dept. or Weigh Scale.
• Option to Block Sales / Purchase or deactivate the product when not in use
• Supports multiple VAT% which facilitates one product taxed at x% and another at y%.
• Maintain stock by Department, Brand, Product Type and Supplier.
• Product movements are controlled by Stock Receipts and Adjustments, thereby ensuring up to the minute inventory quantities.
• Optionally print barcodes for those products received in a stock receipt.

Security

• Security is a key functionality. Access to each screen whether it is to add, edit, view or delete can be set for any user. Same goes for the base keys in the billing screen.
